Ingredients

2 1/2 cups water
3/4 cup sugar
1 bag peach tea
1/4 teaspoon freshly grated lime zest
1 large white peach, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch dice
1 large yellow peach, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch dice
1 pint peach sorbet or ice cream

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Simmer water and sugar, stirring, until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in tea bag and zest. Steep 5 minutes, then discard tea bag. Chill syrup until cold.

    Step 2

    Stir peaches into chilled syrup and serve with scoops of sorbet.
