Ingredients

lamb steaks from the leg or the shoulder cut about 1 1/2 inches thick
garlic
melted butter or oil
salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Rub each steak with a cut clove of garlic and brush with melted butter or oil. Grill over coals, turning to brown evenly, until the steaks are nicely browned on the outside but still pink and rare in the middle. Season to taste with salt and pepper as they cook.
