Chicken or Shrimp Marinade

Ingredients

3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
6 tablespoons olive oil
Juice of 1 lime
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Dash of cayenne or ground black pepper

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients with a whisk. Pour over chicken or shrimp. Refrigerate overnight. Grill over hot coals or broil in oven.
