Ingredients

½ shallot, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, lightly crushed
½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
¼ cup red wine or white wine vinegar
Kosher salt, freshly ground pepper

    Whisk shallot, garlic, oil, and vinegar in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
